
Brett Brock(I)
Brett Brock was born on August 12th in Lubbock, Texas. He spent his summers water skiing and was a World Class knee boarder in his teens. He went to Monterey High School and then Texas Tech University as a Theatre Arts major. During the American College Theatre Festival there he met Texas Tech Theatre Department legends Barry Corbin, G.W. Bailey, and Toni Cobb who encouraged him to pursue acting in television and film. Before leaving west Texas he attended a weekend acting workshop in Lubbock with Hollywood casting director Shari Rhodes. He continued On Camera acting technique study with her and they maintained a close relationship. Brett met his mentor, Hollywood actor/writer/director Cliff Osmond, in a Dallas acting seminar and studied extensively with him until his death in December 2012. Brett was cast in the hit TV shows From Dusk Till Dawn and in the recurring role of Clyde Marshall in Dallas before leaving for Los Angeles. He returned to his roots on The Dallas Theatre Center stage when he was cast in Of Mice and Men for The Steinbeck Foundation's Celebration of 100 years of John Steinbeck. A versatile veteran character actor who has shared the screen with such diverse stars as Vanessa Redgrave, Robert Duvall, Daniel Craig, and Chuck Norris. He lives in Los Angeles.
