Alec Pleon

Alec 'Funny Face' Pleon was one of the leading lights of British variety theatres from the 1930s to the 1970s. The son of a well-known music-hall act Daimler and Edie, he made his first stage appearance in 1923 at the Empire, Mile End Road in London's East End.
