Hosekræmmeren (1963)

The young girl Cecilia is in love with the neighbor's son Espen. However, her father, a pedlar of knitted goods, will not allow her to marry him. Out of grief, she succumbs to insanity. Adaptation of Blicher's 1829 short story.
