Virginia Cole(1947-2018)

Virginia Cole also played Bridget Cadogan in "The Irish R.M." This popular BBC series was produced in the 1980's. Set in turn-of-the-20th century western Ireland, the Bridget character was the victim of much verbal abuse from the cook, her aunt-in-law. The Bridget characters evolves from a love struck young girl from the vilified Hare Island to proud wife and mother.
