After a number of years featuring in Mickey Smith's surf films, He finally earned an invite at the Puerto Escondido Challenge in 2016 and competed in the WSL world big wave tour till 2018. His best result was at the 2017 Puerto Escondido Challenge, finishing in 3rd place.
