Teddy Pilette

Teddy Pilette. Transportation Department: Le Mans. Pilette was a third-generation race driver from Belgium. He started out in the junior formulas in Europe and then Sportscars. He eventually won the Formula 5000 championship in back-to-back seasons (1974 & 1975), but that was the extent of his success. He later taught at his father's driving school in Europe.
