Samuel S. Franklin

Samuel S. Franklin is a drama actor known for his role as singer John Davis in the Milli Vanilli biopic entitled, "Girl You Know It's True." Matthias Schweighöfer ( Army of Thieves, Swimmers) stars as Frank Farian, with Tijan Njie and Elan Ben Ali playing the 80's pop duo in the music biopic from director Simon Verhoeven (Willkommen bei den Hartmanns.) The story chronicles the life of legendary pop duo and their meteoric rise to fame which ended in one of the biggest sandals in music history. Franklin will portray the role of John Davis, one of the singers behind the groups success along with Brad Howell, Charles Shaw, Linda Rocco, and Jodie Rocco. Now available in theaters!
