Paul Shannon was the popular host of a children's show in the 1950s, 1960s and early 1970s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Among other features of his show, he highlighted the old Three Stooges shorts, helping to re-popularize the Stooges. The Stooges rewarded him by giving him a role in the movie The Outlaws Is Coming (Wild Bill Hickock).
