Olivia Hamilton is an American actress, producer, and media executive who has built a notable career in both independent and studio filmmaking. Initially establishing a background in economics and consulting, Hamilton successfully pivoted into the creative industry, where she has frequently collaborated on high-profile, critically acclaimed cinematic projects. She is widely recognized for her dual capabilities in front of the camera as an actress and behind the scenes as a feature film producer.Hamilton gained widespread attention for her roles in a series of landmark Hollywood films. She made a memorable appearance in the Academy Award-winning musical romance La La Land (2016), followed by a prominent supporting role as Pat White, the wife of astronaut Ed White, in the biographical drama First Man (2018). Her acting portfolio also includes Gus Van Sant’s comedy-drama Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot (2018). Beyond acting, she served as a key producer on the massive, 1920s Hollywood epic Babylon (2022), managing the complex, grand-scale production requirements for Paramount Pictures alongside its director and her husband, Oscar-winner Damien Chazelle.Outside of her traditional filmmaking credits, Hamilton is heavily involved in social entrepreneurship and civic leadership.
