Mojean Aria

Mojean Aria is an award winning actor, writer, director, and producer whose work spans film and television internationally.In 2018, Mojean made history as the first unsigned recipient of the Heath Ledger Scholarship, chosen by a judging panel that included Gary Oldman and Bruna Papandrea, and backed by benefactors Nicole Kidman and Michelle Williams. Judge Kimberly Peirce praised his work as "rich, nuanced, precise, beautiful, authentic, emotive and fierce." It was a declaration of things to come.Since then he has worked opposite some of the most celebrated performers of his generation, Jason Momoa in Apple TV+‘s See, Hugh Jackman in Warner Bros.’ Reminiscence, Antonio Banderas in The Enforcer, Russell Crowe in Beast, and most recently Tom Hanks in an Apple Original Film.His performance in Shayda, which opened the World Cinema competition at Sundance 2023, won the Audience Award, and was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics with Cate Blanchett as executive producer, earned him an AACTA nomination for Best Supporting Actor, Australia’s equivalent of the Academy Awards.Mojean Aria founded production company Mystic Makers in 2020.
