Mike Saad(II)

Mike Saad worked on 10 productions at the Organic from ’73 to ’80 culminating in an Emmy for the WTTW production of Bleacher Bums. He was Jeff nominated twice for best actor in Bleacher Bums and The Caretaker at Victory Gardens. During his time at the Organic, it won Best Ensemble for The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit and Bleacher Bums. Studied improv with Del Close. He guest starred in over 40 TV shows and movies. (The Chosen, Seinfeld, Chicago Med, 24.) Played Joel Cairo in the Grammy nominated production of The Maltese Falcon with Michael Madsen, Sandra Oh, and Edward Hermann. While in LA, he started an improv theater and learned to Harold with Jane Morris and Jeff Michalski of Second City ETC fame and the Fanatic Salon in Culver City. Wrote cartoons and greeting cards with the president of the National Cartoonist Society, Rick Stromoski. Wrote and produced the film The Sand Angels with Emmy winner, Bill O’Neil. Bill and he released a new album, Late to the Party. Streaming everywhere under the Seabrook label. The University of Chicago press is publishing Scream! Bleed! Take Off Your Clothes!. Stuart Gordon and Chicago’s Organic Theatre, a book he co-authored with Cordis Heard, Jim Rinnert and Mary Griswold about the Organic Theater when Stuart Gordon running the show, In bookstores everywhere in August 2026.
