Daughter of Pathe screenwriter Peggy Prior and adopted daughter of the poet, essayist, author, and screenwriter Joseph Moncure March. Lori March began acting on stage in the 1940s. She later married the vocal performer Alexander Scourby, best known for his famous reading of "The Bible". Lori March Williams passed away in Connecticut in 2013. She is buried in the Church of the Transfiguration Columbarium Manhattan, New York County (Manhattan), New York, USA.
