Kara Hayward

Kara Hayward is an American actress recognized as one of Variety’s "10 Actors to Watch" in 2016, highlighting her as a rising talent in the film industry. She is best known for her breakout performance as Suzy Bishop in Moonrise Kingdom (2012), directed by Wes Anderson. Making her feature film debut with no prior acting experience, Hayward’s performance earned critical acclaim and a nomination for Critic’s Choice Award for Best Young Actor/Actress in 2013.Following her debut, Hayward continued to build a diverse body of work across film and television. She starred as Emily Parris in The Sisterhood of Night (2014), and appeared in independent films such as Quitters and Fan Girl. She also had a supporting role in Manchester by the Sea and appeared in Paterson.Hayward has collaborated again with Anderson as a voice actor in Isle of Dogs (2018).
