Kaare Bertrand

Born in Fredrikstad, Østfold County, Norway in 1904 as Kaare Bertrand Hansen, his parents were Karl Hartvig Hansen and Bertha Marie Johannessen. The family later moved to Kristiania (Oslo), where Kaare started as a dancer and revue artist, often together with his sister Aase (1909-1959). He also played in a silent movie
