John Fromes. Visual Effects: Horrors of War. John Fromes started his film career by being the lowliest production assistant on a Sonnyboo Production and has now moved on to directing films himself. After attending Ohio University and studying to be a dental hygienist, John decided to follow the unseemly advice of Peter John Ross to give up everything and become a filmmaker.
