She was one of the leading actresses on the Flemisch K.V.S. (Koninklijke Vlaamse Schouwburg) theatre in Brussels. She played 189 the part of 'Mathilde' in the first Flemisch sitcom on televison 'Schipper naast Mathilde' from 1955 till 1962.
