Jenny Gravenstein

Jenny grew up in Texas's competitive dance circuit and received her acting training at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After graduating, she moved to New York, where she shared a Lower East Side apartment with friends in the theater community, continued training with the legendary Wynn Handman, and found a second home at Slant Theatre Project. As the founder of SecondStage Studio at theBLUE Theatre in Austin, Jenny continues to work with grassroots arts organizations to expand access to the arts and support artists. She married her husband in 2011, and in 2015, they welcomed their daughter.
