Fred Newman was born on 6 May 1952 in LaGrange, Georgia, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), Gremlins (1984) and Between the Lions (1999). He has been married to Katy Dobbs since 1985. They have two children.
