Duran Fulton Brown

Duran Fulton Brown was born in Central London. A proud alumnus of the National Youth Theatre and a dyslexic creative, his work is recognised for emotional stillness, quiet intensity, and a grounded screen presence.In 2023, Duran earned a Best Supporting Actor award for his performance opposite Joaquim de Almeida in The Last Animal. His upcoming work includes The Pendragon Cycle, an adaptation of Stephen R. Lawhead’s novels, in which he portrays king Elphin across multiple decades, and Series 3 of the BBC thriller The Capture.Duran has worked with acclaimed directors including James Mangold, Paul Greengrass. Legendary filmmaker Nicolas Roeg praised his "rare sense of truth in performance" and personally recommended him.Beyond film and theatre, Duran has a strong presence in editorial photography. Collaborating with renowned photographers such as Mario Testino, Bruce Weber, Greg Williams, and Charles Moriarty, whose portrait of Duran was shortlisted for Portrait of Humanity Vol. 4.
