David DeGrow Shotwell

David DeGrow Shotwell is a two-time Nicholl semifinalist whose debut feature, The Bounceback, premiered at SXSW as a NYTimes Critics' Pick before Tribeca Films distribution.David holds a BA from Central Michigan and completed post-graduate work at UCLA before becoming a Screenwriting Fellow at AFI.David previously worked in development at The Montecito Picture Company, WideAwake Inc., and Gray Fox Films where he discovered emerging talent as a Creative Executive and Director of Development. Recently, he produced the neo-noir, Lake George, starring Shea Whigham and Carrie Coon, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released by Magnolia Pictures.At home, his wife and two dogbabies rule the roost.
