
Al Coronel
Los Angeles native Al Coronel was surrounded by the entertainment industry from an early age, though he pursued his passion for performance later in life. Before transitioning into acting, he became an internationally recognized professional salsa dancer, traveling the world to teach and perform at major salsa festivals and events.His first feature film appearance came in the acclaimed film Blow alongside Johnny Depp and Penélope Cruz, where he was cast as a salsa dancer. The experience reignited his childhood dream of becoming an actor and launched his career in film and television. Since then, he has appeared in numerous television series, films, commercials, and video games with an ever growing list of credits. One of his career highlights was appearing in the Marvel hit film "Logan" alongside Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, and Stephen Merchant. He has also appeared in Season 3 of the HBO series Westworld and TNT’s hit drama The Last Ship starring Eric Dane.Al studied acting at the Sanford Meisner Center for the Arts in Los Angeles, where he completed both the two-year Meisner program and the master’s program under renowned instructor and Sanford Meisner protégé Martin Barter. His stage credits include productions of Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and the musical Cesar & Ruben, written and directed by Ed Begley Jr.. A bilingual actor and proud Los Angeles native, he is also an eight-year military veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
